Privacy
What we collect
Standard server logs — the page requested, a timestamp, a referrer, a user agent and an IP address — kept to operate the site and diagnose faults. There are no accounts here, so there is nothing to sign up for and no personal details to give us.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read, so we know which parts of the catalogue are worth maintaining. It sets cookies. You can opt out for every site at once with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and the site works identically if you do.
Filters stored in your browser
When you filter or sort the printer list, that selection is written to your browser’s sessionStorage so that returning from a printer’s page lands you back where you were. It never leaves your device, it is not sent to us, and it is discarded when you close the tab.
No advertising and no affiliate tracking
There are no adverts, no retailer links, no affiliate tags and no third-party tracking pixels on this site. Nothing here is paid placement, and no ranking on the site is influenced by anyone paying for it. How the lists are ordered is described in how we compare.
Links to other sites
A few pages link to manufacturer documentation and to published safety notices. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
