Anycubic Kobra X

Most four-colour machines in this catalogue bolt a changer onto the side and charge extra for it; the Kobra X builds four filament paths into the printer itself, so the price on the box is the price of the multi-colour machine. That single decision makes the comparison arithmetic much simpler — no combo maths, no separate unit taking up desk space, no wondering whether the marketing photograph shows something you have to buy. It can still be chained with ACE 2 Pro units to reach nineteen colours for anyone who wants that. Underneath is a familiar 260 mm open-frame bed-slinger with Klipper, a camera and a 300 °C hotend. Because it is new, long-run reliability of four integrated filament paths is unproven — and four paths inside one machine is four times the jam surface to clear when something does go wrong.
